Interview With U2 360 Tour Lighting Director Ethan Weber Show 177

On today’s show we interview Ethan Weber the band U2 concert 360 tour lighting director at Anaheim Stadium in Anaheim California. We had u2 tickets so we were lucky to talk to him.

Ethan talked with us for about a half an hour about the U2 tour, the design, how to engage a crowd.  We are fascinated by the “machinery” behind concert tours and this fellow has done some of the biggest ever….The Rolling Stones 40 Licks, U2 (of course) and many other really cool well regarded shows/tours like My Chemical Romance, Return to Forever and Fall Out Boy.

When U2 concert dates 360° tour will close in Canada this July, making over $700 million dollars. It is the highest grossing tour of all time.
